Child safety standards · Version 2026-09-27

Keeping children safe

MayBirthday (Raw4 Multimedia Services) has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation and for any material showing it, including edited, drawn or AI-made material.

Our standards

  • Banned in our terms. Uploading, sharing or asking for such material ends access immediately.
  • Report button on every photo and video, for families and for guests using a share link.
  • Hidden at once. A report about a child's safety hides the item for everyone immediately, while we review it.
  • Action within 24 hours of any notice from the authorities or the public (RA 11930).
  • Reported to the authorities within 3 days of taking material down: the DOJ Office of Cybercrime and the National Coordination Center against OSAEC and CSAEM, as RA 11930 requires.
  • Evidence preserved. The item and the related activity records are kept under legal hold, never deleted, for as long as the case needs.

Safety built into the app

  • A guest's photos join an album only after a parent approves them.
  • Share links open one birthday or a few chosen photos, can expire, and can be switched off at once.
  • Warning signs in behaviour (for example, a brand-new link uploading heavily) are flagged for review. We never look at content.
  • Accounts, links and albums can be suspended at once.
  • Where a photo or video was taken stays locked with the family's key: we can't see it, and share links never include it.

Encryption and safety

Families' albums are end-to-end encrypted, so we can't scan them. We protect children through reports, parent approval of guest uploads, behaviour warning signs and fast action. When someone reports an item, their own phone sends us that one item so we can review it.

Working with the authorities

We cooperate with the PNP, NBI, DOJ and the courts under RA 11930, RA 10175 and the Rule on Cybercrime Warrants.
